It all started when I was 7 years old and my friend Keith and I set up our record players in his garage and charged our neighbors 25c to come in and dance. We were the big shots in the neighborhood.

At the age of 16 I started my radio career at the local high school station KVHS 90.5 FM. I worked for free to learn the ropes. The first time I opened the mic I was shaking I was so nervous. I worked there for 2 years and then got my first paying job at KISS FM working nights. Over four years, I worked my way through all day parts and ended up in the morning slot for about a year. Then the station was sold. I worked at a few more stations like Eagle 96.9, FM102.5, BIG 98, TV20 and then would land a job at WILD 107 which is now WILD 94.9 FM in San Francisco.

I started this mobile DJ business with the help of the best radio promotions director in the world "Dan Acree". We sat in his office at KSFO/KYA FM in San Francisco and tried to see how we could make this work. There are hundreds of DJ companies out there but it seemed like nobody knew what they were doing. There were few big companies and everyone was doing it as a hobby.

I started Eastwood Entertainment 1989 and the phones started ringing. I was the only DJ and was working every weekend. I was turning down several jobs so it was time to grow. One by one I would hire a DJ and now we have 18 DJ's and quickly became the largest DJ Company in Northern California.

I have hired the best DJ's in the area and make sure that every customer is completely satisfied. We have grown over the years from referrals, referrals, referrals. The DJ's understand how important each event is that they are performing at. Be on time and have the right music and always smile is a must if you want to work here. I am in the office a hundred hours a week and I am personally available to my customers any time they have a question.
