I began my DJ career in 1981 with two mismatched turntables and a Radio Shack mixer. My specialty was mixing two 45's of Rick James "Super Freak". My Crew and I were among the first mix & scratch DJ's in the world. Several years would pass before I would enter a DJ battle to win it. Before long, I went on to win two more and was featured in an article in "Low Rider Magazine". I gained my first nightclub gig at the "Palladium" in SF in 86. I moved to Los Angeles and became the head DJ at the Osko's Club L.A. in Beverly Hills (the club they filmed "Thank God It's Friday"). I eventually returned to the Bay Area to be featured in numerous nightclubs such as: Houlihan's S.F., Channels, Spectrum 90, Pierce Street Annex, Mangia Mangia and The Beat. In the 90's, I ran and operated three successful night clubs while gaining invaluable experience in entertainment. In 1995 I obtained my FCC license and became a radio personality on 89.1 KECG. Through hard work and persistence, I entered the "prime time". I became a member of the #1 rated mix show in Northern California. "The Saturday Night Street Party" on WILD 94.9. Within three months, I became the anchor mix show on the doghouse in the mornings with Elvis & JV. For the last two years my mixes have been aired throughout Northern California for millions of people to hear. I thank God for the outstanding reputation I have attained from within the DJ world and from the WILD 94.9 enthusiasts for my unique presentation of music. From the many clubs, hundreds of weddings and thousands of people I have performed for, I'm proud to say, I CAN ROCK A PARTY!!! From the 30's to the 90's I play it all. I give the people what they want to hear and I interact with them on the microphone. The dance floor is never empty and there's never a boring moment. I believe in providing quality showmanship.
